W 66 ‘Storm’

Project Description

Storm is a luxurious state of the art yacht deigned by Warwick Yacht Design as a fast cruising sloop and 5 star charter yacht. Modern carbon composite construction and fitout are a feature of this 66 foot (20m) vessel built to full charter survey. The layout design features modern interior with three guest cabins plus crew quarters, spacious saloon and galley area below decks dining and entertaining. Modern commercial grade appliances include surround sound plasma television. Ice maker, dishwasher, microwave and trash compactor make life at sea a breeze. Full navigation and communication systems keep in touch with the world. All sailing systems are powered operated for ease of management including dual steering stations and hydraulic opening transom door forms a diving and fishing platform. A two cockpit arrangement allows for central above decks entertaining area and working cockpit with electric winches for performance sailing. Storm 2 is the first Eagle 66 (20m) built in Australia for the discerning owner and world export market showcasing the Australian boat building industry. New high tech carbon composite construction techniques require the most modern facilities available. Sydney Yachts Boat building facility in Nowra, were able to meet the stringent requirements of the owner and designer to build this modern high tech vessel.
