Project Description
The Warwick 60Dn performance sloop is an exciting new cruiser/racer with a three-cabin layout finished in light native timbers with oiled teak floors. Built in composite to a superb standard by Yachting Developments, New Zealand, Intrigue combines elegance with powerful performance. The owners aft cabin has generous storage and side settee with ensuite facilities. A double guest cabin is located forward , served by an ensuite shower and toilet, which also doubles as a day head. Folding pipe cots are provided in the focsle for additional crew. Eye-level portholes in the main saloon generate an expansive feel to the main dining and navigation station. The soft flowing cabin and side coamings enclose a large centre cockpit and the flush foredeck allows the self-tacker headsail track to be taken rail to facilitate efficient reaching. Excellent performance comes from the modern underwater shapes and appendage and from the carbon-fibre Southern Spars rig. The sail plan includes a removable furler on the headstay for long distance cruising and an in boom furling mainsail. The swept-back spreaders allow for a 112% over lapping headsail with dual tracks. The large aft deck, which has sun canopies, can be used for entertaining and dining and the indented transom has a stern ladder for boarding and bathing.
